# How To Get Started

Getting started with Shard Network depends on whether Shard is already live on your campus.

#### <mark style="color:$tint;">For Students (at campuses where Shard Network is live)</mark>

1. **Connect to the WiFi**: Turn on your device’s WiFi and select "Shard Network" from the list.
2. **Sign in with Gmail**: The login page will open automatically. Enter your Gmail address.
3. **Choose a Plan**: Select the subscription that fits your needs (Light, Standard, or Premium).
4. **Pay**: Complete your payment securely online.
5. **Enjoy**: You are now connected to fast, reliable, 24/7 internet.

#### <mark style="color:$tint;">For Students (at campuses where Shard Network isn’t yet live)</mark>

You can still be part of the Shard community and be the first to know when we arrive on your campus. Follow these steps:

1. Visit [Shardnetwork Waitlist](https://shardnetwork.framer.ai/)
2. Enter your email and join the waitlist.
3. Follow Shard Network on [X (Twitter)](https://x.com/shard_network) for official updates.
4. Join Our [global community](https://chat.whatsapp.com/BoMAqQexwZ20TSbCeZZiji).
5. Follow the founders on X ([Richard ](https://x.com/kingmessang_)& [Jerome](https://x.com/ubyjerome)) to stay updated on progress, announcements, and launch dates.
